Dr. Sharma, is Associate Editor (USA) of BK, she is an expert in stem cell biology. She received her PhD in Biomedical Science from University of Delhi, India and worked at National Institute of Immunology (NII) followed by Postdoctoral Fellowships at Medical School at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri, and Norton Thoracic Institute, Saint Joseph Hospital and Medical Centre, Phoenix, AZ. Later Dr. Sharma joined Duke University and worked on Kidney transplant and Immunology. Currently, she is a cell and molecular biologist at Betterhumans Inc. Gainesville, Florida and her core research activities are focused on isolating and characterizing the extra cellular vesicles along with scaling up the production for clinical trials.

Dr. Sharma’s research accomplishments have been recognized by numerous scientific organizations including the American Society of Transplantation, International Society of Heart and Lung through awards. She has been recipient of several travel awards from clinical trials. Dr, Sharma has published more than 30 manuscripts and has been an invited reviewer for a number of international journals
