Dr Russell Pickford, Ph.D. (Australia)
Dr. Pickford is a Senior Research Fellow and Team Leader - Small Molecule Mass Spectrometry at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) at Sydney, Australia. He received his PhD. in Chemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), UK in 2003. He is an internationally renowned expert in mass spectrometric techniques and their application to the solution of complex biological problems, particularly applied to the analysis of small molecules and metabolites. Dr. Pickford was lecturer in mass spectrometry at the University of Western Sydney, Australia before becoming team leader at UNSW.
